My first interest in writing began when I was in 2nd grade. I had written a short story and received a high grade on it. My mom recognized my creative writing talent from my first written short story. She still has the 2nd grade paper I had written back then.
Throughout the ensuing years, I did not continue writing, but had a very creative mind. It was not until the early 2000s I discovered an excellent combination of creativity and writing for fiction mystery books. I enjoy getting alone with my computer and allowing my mind to take me to imaginary places while my fingers on the keyboard record the event.
I have thoroughly enjoyed creating The Steve Mitchell Adventure Series©, surrounding the fictional character of pilot, Steve Mitchell. I found the inspiration for my books in my childhood days of reading the book series, The Hardy Boys©. The books of that day were created to compete with a new emerging technology called television.
My fictional book series immerses the reader into a world of intrigue and mystery, much like The Hardy Boys© did for the audience in their day. Follow the escapes of the characters, Steve Mitchell, and his sidekick Julie, as they grapple with a cosmic collision of time travel. Leaving much to the unknown when and where this time travel takes them. The mysteries they unravel are hard for the mind to comprehend. Is it a true... or is it a dream?
I wrote the books with intent to direct the readers conscious into 'painting a theater in the mind' to follow along with an engaging story line that runs the length of the series. There are nine books planned in this series. The 5th book, Stolen Time, is currently being written and is to be released at the end of 2022.
Hollywood has optioned to create a feature film franchise based on the Steve Mitchell story. The first film, Time Jump, The Mysterious Flight© is in the pre-production phase and is based on Volume One, The Mysterious Flight of 1144Q©.
